There is a public forum on the budget tomorrow night at 7pm at the BOE office. Please consider attending and letting the board know just how short sighted & harmful these potential cuts are to the students of the district. Just because the list of potential cuts to librarians includes the Middle and High Schools does not mean that the Elementary schools will not potentially be affected. Most of the non- tenured librarians are Elementary Librarians and because of their status as non tenured they could be let go and another librarian put in their place. Please either come to the meeting or email the board and let them know that they need to find ways to save our school libraries.
