Dear SLPS Board of Education members and Dr. Adams,

I fully support the effort to remove the Confederate name Kennard from Classical Junior Academy. Confederate names have no place on public schools. I urge you to take immediate steps to change the name to align with the Core Beliefs of SLPS. This effort has been ongoing for over five years. Now is the time; this is one way to show solidarity with the movement for black lives. Let’s do right by the students of St. Louis City.
