Thank you! To everyone who signed, shared, and commented on our petition, you’ve been so encouraging. Within the first 24 hours, we surpassed over 1,500 signatures, far more than I ever imagined. I have not yet heard any response from Olivet. I’ll be reaching out to administrators in the coming days and will communicate any updates with all of you. In the meantime, please consider sharing this petition with those you know, especially those connected to Olivet or the larger Nazarene church. I have no desire to demonize or disrespect Olivet, but it’s my hope that wider awareness will foster what seems a needed dialogue regarding the university’s identity and values.
