Job seeker visa interview appointment in German Consulate Mumbai:

 I was too excited because after clearing long waiting list for about 6 months I managed to get an appointment to take a part in interview with German Consulate in Mumbai on 12-Feb-2019, 10:00 AM. I have visited website for document checklist and I paid for few of primarily requirements' time binding agreement kind of documents like travel health insurance, I had to book accommodation. I made a DD for document verification and visa fees. I belong to Nadiad city of Gujarat state and  had booked travelling seat for Mumbai and return ticket in train. I had got transit stay for freshness in Mumbai just to look fresh in interview. I had taken my 2 days leave granted from my employer. I prepared for overnight to crack the interview. 

I reached 20 minutes before my appointment time to appear in interview and security had allowed me to enter in consulate premise, the front dest person who had requested my appointment letter, passport, picture and 2 Demad Drafts (DD). Unfortunately,  I got 40000/- rs. DD which supposed to be of 45000/- INR' DD according to them, it was happen just because no clear information available on their website. I had studied on their website that document verification fees may be varies from 2000 INR to 40000 INR and that's the reason I picked the highest value from the given range. The front desk person has straight forward replied me that 'Vasim your appointment stand cancelled for today and you have to reschedule your appointment with correct amount Draft'....

I was little shocked for a moment and soon after I managed to reply that I can take new DD of correct amount.  It could take maximum 30 minutes. That person was not ready to understand a single request, even I asked to swipe the card but he replied that they don't have card swiping machine. And he added that at all the causes I don't have any other option and I had to leave the place to allow him to take next applicants in a queue. I was near to cry and I seen other applicants were permitting to go out upon request for taking photocopies of their documents.  I was silently thinking that photocopies also take about 10 to 15 minutes and they were allowing and for me it was clearly "NO".

I had contacted German VFS for fees inquiry before making Draft but they replied in my email query as 'they only book appointment for interview and they don't have any information about residece long term visa' I was further provided woth link which I had already visited. 

I approach again for taking re-appointment but as expected, I've been replied, "all slots are busy up to April 2019, we will get in touch with you once slots get open"

Isn't it too weird!!! I am crying for 2 days due to this. I never would wish, it happens with other ever. 

I want you to sign my petition to send the strict message to all the foreign embassies and consulates as mentioning below:

1) to keep alternate payment options if they are too rigid on their fees

2) must keep one escalator desk besides the front desk where such avoidable issues can be taken up on special case bases, reviewed on it, discussed on it and accepted upon some conditions linking with release of the respective visa and travel documents. 

3) if you asked anyone to re-schedule an appointment due to any document or small discrepancy related issues, the appointments should be given on short spam of time and  on very much priority bases.

4) Health insurance and accommodation proof kind of evidence should not be asked at the time of interview, and if they satisfied with the applicants and reach on decision to issue the visa then such documents should be asked.
