Chairperson, Minuteman District School Committee

“The Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School Committee has appointed Mr. Kevin Mahoney as Acting Superintendent of the High School beginning Friday, May 19, 2023.  Mr. Mahoney who previously served as Assistant Superintendent from January 2013 to August 2019, and served as District Treasurer from 2010 to 2012, will serve while the School Committee continues to investigate complaints it received regarding Superintendent-Director Dr. Kathleen Dawson who remains on administrative leave.

Mr. Mahoney has an intricate knowledge of the district, its faculty and staff and has continued to serve as a consultant to the School Committee since his retirement.  He also brings significant leadership experience working for other schools, municipal governments and in the private sector. We are pleased to have him lead the school at this time,” said Pamela Nourse, Chairperson, Minuteman District School Committee.
