Today, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, is a huge victory for all Maryland public schools, as the state has now made window AC units eligible for public funding. This is largely due to comptroller Franchot’s campaign for this initiative and Governor Hogan’s support. But do not forget all of the students, parents, teachers, community members, board members, and local politicians that actively made their basic needs clearly known.
