We had a really great neighborhood once upon a time. Before apathy and distrust settled in our hearts. Our departed brother Sam Weekes , BELIEVED in our gap and the boys his community. Sam has transitioned, but I still remember his words and what he stood for. He would always say, Wunna is mine...meaning the people in his gap are his friends and no one could come and make bad for us.

I have said it many times. If Sam were still with us. This disrespect of our neighborhood would never stand....it would not be tolerated.

This is also a call to HONOR the people who came before us and worked to hold our community together and keep our community clean. The ones who have never had to grace our televisions to garner support with their "crocodile tears" but fought, often thankless, to make it better for US..

The Sam's of the world.
