Kia ora koutou,

First of all, a massive THANK YOU to every one of you who has so kindly signed and shared our petition - which last night shot past the 10,000 supporters mark! And continues to rapidly gain momentum.

For those of you who are based in Aotearoa New Zealand - if you are able to support this kaupapa / effort, below is some information about our Protest March to he held on Saturday 6th July 2019. 

Protest March and Rally - “A Call to Action“ - to raise awareness of the Environmental Protection Authority (NZ)'s decision to grant Coastal Resources Ltd a marine consent to dump vast quantities of toxic dredge sludge waste from Auckland's inner harbour marinas onto the pristine wahi tapu waters surrounding Aotea/Great Barrier Island, over many years. 

(This marine consent is currently being appealed in the High Court by Kelly Klink of iwi Ngāti Rehua-Ngātiwai ki Aotea.) 

Date of the Protest March: Saturday, 6th July, 2019

Location: Queen Street - please assemble in Takutai Square, Britomart, Auckland, at 11.30am by the protest banners

Time: 11:30 for 12.00 pm start - march up Queen Street to Aotea Square

12.30 pm arrive at Aotea Square

Karakia / Mihi / Welcome - Kaumatua

2.30pm return Hikoi march - walk back down Queen Street towards Takutai Square, Britomart
