Devocalization procedures are dangerous and unnecessary. Voice box removal surgery runs the risk of, complications, infection necrosis, chronic gagging, chronic cough, chronic tracheitis, nerve damage, muscle spasms, increase stress and possible  decline to overall health to the animal. This surgery is more damaging and unethical than it is helpful.
