CPBH was founded more than 14 years ago, and our volunteers have made a concerted effort to communicate to the McGuinty/Wynne Liberals about the problems with Tarion's monopoly. These efforts have included 29 trips to Queen's Park (many with groups of homeowners), meetings with Ministers, and regular e-mails, letters, and telephone calls. There has also been considerable media attention to these serious issues. As well, Justice Cunningham recommended ending Tarion's monopoly in his 2015 Tarion Review report. We believe the Liberals understand the problem. But, the Liberals have continued to side with builders over consumers.
