Online For 2 Weeks

Doug Ford has just announced that schools across Ontario will be moving online from January 5th - January 17th. It is stressful for many when the government decides to make these announcements last minute and doesn’t communicate clearly to students and teachers. Hopefully during these two weeks the government can create a well-planned and strategic return to school and implement better safety measures within schools. 

I know online school affects our mental health. During the two weeks online, reach out to family and friends. There are mental health supports available. Remember, you are not in this alone.

I will continue to fight for students all across Ontario until schools are safe and kids feel safe going back.
