Extended Break

We have been notified that all schools in Ontario are having their winter break extended to January 5th. They are promising N95 Masks for teachers ONLY, reduced class sizes, and better ventilation. These remarks aren’t looking promising as we are in the middle of a term and there is no way to reduce class size. Students are not protected during this time and we are taking away necessary medical supplies from doctors and nurses who need it most. We have been in this pandemic since 2019 and now they are saying they will better the ventilation in school? Universities have announced they will be virtual to stop the spread until the end of January. All secondary and elementary should do the same. Students best interest is not at heart.
