   Sad times for Arvada's History and Olde Town as a whole.  Heavy equipment arrived today and it seems that the historic houses on Grandview Avenue will be destroyed very soon.  

In honor of the history and what this means to Olde Town, we are holding a Wake.   The old custom of a wake came about – in part – because it was important to be sure that the dead did not wake. The time of watching over the body was to ensure that the person was deceased. 

Join us live with full social distancing protocol, by Zoom or simply cruise by with headlights on around Olde Town a few times-Sunday, December 6th, 3:00 pm.  We will have a ceremony complete with Eulogy and live music.   Face Masks required.  Meet at 7401 Grandview Avenue, (Eli Ashby & Carly's), bring your own chair and show your support in whatever way seems appropriate.
