Just an update to let you all know that we have a meeting at the Arvada City Hall Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 - 6:15 to discuss the Olde Town Design Guidelines and what the rules are. Although reference is not being made to the Certificate of Compliance that the City issued after the DRC meeting on August 15th in regards to the demolition of the two historic houses on Grandview, this is what it is about.   There was a waiver granted because the development is not compliant!  This is just one of 7 waivers.  We are moving along and a group of us are going to the meeting to hear what they have to say.  We are in good shape with over 1250 signatures and around 20 major Olde Town Commercial property owners against this thing, pledging support.  We do need to continue to show support against until this is resolved. If you'd like to show up, you are welcome.  The actual appeal to the C of C is October  8th.  More info to follow!
