Reasons for Canada to donate 40 Leopard 2 Tanks:

• Ukraine is fighting against a tyrannical, brutal, revanchist regime that if allowed to succeed would threaten the security and rules-based order all free nations enjoy.
• The Ukrainian Government has repeatedly requested modern Western battle tanks (such as the Leopard 2) in order to win the war and fully liberate its territory
• A protracted war would result in the death of more Ukrainians and make the world a much less safe place
• Canada, a steadfast supporter of Ukraine, currently has 82 Leopard 2 tanks and only needs 42 for training purposes
• German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck has come out in favour of green-lighting the shipment of Leopard 2 battle tanks
• The donation of Canadian Leopard 2 tanks may encourage other allies to donate their Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to donate 40 Leopard 2 tanks (20 Leopard 2A6 and 20 Leopard 2A4 tanks) to the Armed Forces of Ukraine along with necessary support equipment and training.
