People learn from their mistakes. Once circumcision was a wide practice that had alleged benefits but we've now learned its not beneficial for females or males. Female circumcision was outlawed in the 90s however there is many loops holes. Male circumcision is still legal and anyone can do it. Doctors fail to properly inform patients of neonatal (baby) circumcision. If parents were properly informed of the permanent procedure (like what it affects and how it is performed) they would likely decide against it. Circumcision is not a "little snip" it is a life altering decision performed on babies that did not consent to the procedure. No health agency in the world promotes or recommends circumcision. It's time to properly inform everyone about the damage it causes. It's time to tell doctors who want to make a quick buck that you want the truth about the procedure. They'll tell you how great it is but fail to mention the baby is strapped onto a table and is given no pain reliever as the doctor removes more than 50% of the the babies genitalia. The United States is the only first world country in the world that voluntarily practices this procedure. Most of the world is uncircumcised and no problems have occurred. Please save our babies from this cruel barbaric million dollar industry.
