The reasons are simple; he is not basing these decisions on qualifications, knowledge and experience. He is basing them on popularity and loyalty to him.
Let’s look at his potential pick for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. Pete is a regular Fox News contributor and is known for not washing his hands for 10 years. Why? He doesn’t believe in anything he can’t see, therefore bacteria isn’t real.
US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. Why is this a huge deal? Mike doesn’t believe Palestinians exist. He accuses Palestinian people of being a made up group to steal land from Israel. What could go wrong?
