Neural recording and modulation technology operated outside clinical or research settings without informed consent of human subjects adversely affects 1000s of Americans' mental and physical health. It causes:

Neurophysiological technology is also capable of recording and translating different types of thoughts to text and revealing information about the interpersonal communications and private activity of unsuspecting people. This information may become available to law enforcement, intelligence, and research agencies for use in illicit investigations or activities. People affected by the technology's use are often unaware of it's operation until they begin experiencing symptoms of mental illness or physical ailments.
