Covid-19 will have a devastating effect on every day non salaried employees, small businesses and gig workers. Please temporarily cancel rent and mortgage payments during the Covid-19 pandemic to relieve financial pressure to US citizens allowing them the stay home and not have to worry about losing their place of residence. Our Federal government should look into reasonable and sustainable solutions immediately to avoid a bigger crisis. If no action is taken, this can potentially lead to another bigger crisis one which the US is already dealing with..homelessness! We petition the government to suspend rent and mortgage payment during this crisis.
