Hong Kong Police Force have been using Tear Gas excessively against Hong Kong protesters. The reason that Hong Kong protests have escalated and turned violent is because at the start of the Peaceful Protest, HK Police began using violence against our Peaceful Protesters (Tear Gas, Pepper Spray, Bullets, etc.) More than 2 million Hong Kongers Protested Peacefully until the police and China were scared that our people would get positive media and support from other countries. That is when they sent mobs to beat-up protesters and police to tear gas and shoot us. In addition to that, Hong Kong people are angry how the police stormed a subway station and tear gassed everybody in the entire train, even if they were just passersby. When pro-chinese supporters came to attack some of our protesters, the police ignored our 999 emergency calls (911 in US).

The HK police have also been attacking international press; They shot and blinded an Indonesian reporter. The above reasons are why HK protesters have turned violent. We were initially a bunch of peaceful people asking for Human rights but after being attacked, we needed to act up for self defense.

One of our demands are actually to investigate police violence against Peaceful Protesters.

We are fighting for human rights that were promised to us during the 1997 handover from the UK to China. We are an autonomous region, not Chinese Communists. Help Hong Kong to restore to its independent state and thrive as an international financial city.
