It is clear that a complete revamping of the law enforcement system needs to occur in order to protect black lives. A retraining on a national scale needs to happen from how officers are hired, to how they are trained, to how their mental state is monitored throughout their service. A re-teaching, a re-learning, and a restructuring needs to occur in order to minimize social injustices, racism, and racial inequality and prejudices.
