Join Us This Thursday And Friday To Make Noise For Our Children | 900 W North Ave

Friends, Parents, Neighbors and Supporters — 

Please join the community this Thursday (2/22) and Friday (2/23) starting at 8:00 AM for a demonstration against Amtrak's plans to demolish two of our last remaining commercial buildings in the community to make way for a ventilation facility. 

We asked our questions and haven't gotten any answers. We have made our concerns clear and Amtrak has made it clear they have no interests in mind but their own, even at the expense of young children attending Dorothy I. Height Elementary School.

This is our time to make noise! We need to be out, loud and clear that transit should not come at the cost of compromising the health of our youth and treasured resources in already marginalized communities.

We need you. We'll be holding up signs and showing that we're not ok with being railroaded by Amtrak. 

To do this, we'll be meeting at 900 W North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21217 and taking three shifts to ensure our voices are heard ALL DAY! 

• Morning: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Afternoon: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Late Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

If you can take out absolutely any time of your Thursday and / or Friday - please show up as you are (or with signs and noisemakers) so we can make it (again) super clear - THERE'S NO WAY THROUGH WEST BALTIMORE WITHOUT THE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY!
