The East Garrison HOA is being told by MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) to start buying bus passes (appx. $52/month) for any resident (appx. 3,000) who wants one. That could break the bank.

We, East Garrison (EG) homeowners, and friends of EG, say:

• No double taxation: we already pay taxes that fund the MST. We should not also be forced to fund public transit with our HOA dues or Mello-Roos fees.
• Collaborate: HOA, MST, County Board of Supervisors - please facilitate public participation. And, please PUBLICLY collaborate, don’t litigate.
• Advocate: we want our HOA to advocate for homeowners and secure a sensible solution 

This petition will be shared with EG HOA, MST (who creates proposals), and the County Board of Supervisors (who approves MST proposals).
