Hello
Yesterday was World Pancreatic Cancer Day. It seemed an appropriate day to close this petition and say a huge final 'thank you' given that it's objective had been met. However, I ran out of time - it was a manic day with lots of opportunities to spread awareness! The day started with a presentation to my local Council and ended with a Twitter Takeover of the legendary Neville Southall's account who kindly gave me a two hour slot to tweet from his account to his 135k followers to raise awareness on World Pancreatic Cancer Day.
So, I'm closing the petition today instead. I want to say thank you so, so much to each and every one of you that added your name and took the time to send me a message - YOU contributed to the successful outcome of the lobbying for Abraxane!
If you'd like to keep up to date with our work I'm on Twitter @maggiewatts or email at info@hopeiscontagious.co.uk

So all that remains is to say thank you, you've shown such kindness and compassion and it really, really matters. I intend to continue to campaign for pancreatic cancer until we reach a day when patients receive a much better outcome than they do currently.
My very best wishes & grateful thanks to you all - when people pull together, change really can happen!
Maggie x
