To the President of the United States,

We, the undersigned Iranians living in North America, urge you to reconsider any plans for military action against Iran. Any such strike, particularly against densely populated cities like Tehran, would result in immense human suffering. Tehran alone is home to over 10 million civilians, many of whom are family and loved ones of Iranian Americans. This is just one example of how deeply intertwined our communities are.

We believe diplomacy and peaceful negotiation are far more constructive paths to resolving conflict. Military action would not only devastate countless families but also undermine the values of peace and stability your administration pledged to uphold.

Before considering any military intervention, we ask that you reflect on the following:

• The immense human cost of striking heavily populated areas like Tehran, and by extension, many other cities across Iran.
• The deep familial and cultural bonds between Iranian Americans and their loved ones throughout Iran.
• The global consequences, including potential economic instability and spikes in oil prices that would follow from a broader regional conflict.

We implore you to choose peace over war. Do not stain your legacy with the suffering of innocents when diplomacy remains a viable and humane option.
