First Minister of Scotland answer to our petition for COP26 Online

The First Minister of Scotland office has replied to our petition the following:
".... At this time, there are no plans to host a virtual version of COP in advance of the rescheduled event in November 2021. As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are, however, revisiting and re-formulating new engagement processes to reflect this new context..."
Although there is not a decision to host virtually the COP26 this year as our proposed solution, our call has been heard!
We have succeeded in bringing urgency to the UNFCCC, the COP26 Presidency and to the Prime Minister of Scotland for delivering the intergovernmental Climate Change Conference COP26 with online/virtual solutions. A further postponement is not acceptable while we are living a Climate Emergency, we need to move with respect to our commitment to Climate Change.
If you would like to receive the full reply/letter of the First Minister of Scotland, please email me at mariastoica02@gmail.com to forward it to you.
Thank you for your care and involvement for Climate Change!
Best regards,
Maria
