The Wycliffe Development is a proposal by Bishard Homes to permanently destroy this natural habitat in Great Neck. Under the current construction plan, initiated in 2020 with the City of Virginia Beach, this pond and stormwater retention site would be filled in with pipes, dirt, roads, houses, patios, sheds, and driveways. This adds even more polluted runoff into the Great Neck Lakes, which have suffered under decades of development and unfiltered runoff from cars and businesses on Great Neck Road.
Our children and grandchildren expect better and deserve better. Please share this coloring page with them to enjoy and appreciate the joy that comes with being caretakers to God's Green Earth and His Creations.
