Food Network canceled Valerie Bertinelli's cooking show "Valerie's Home Cooking" without giving an explanation to her or her viewers. "Valerie's Home Cooking" has been doing well in ratings since its premiere in August 2015. Viewers love tuning in- not only to see her easy to follow recipes- but also to be entertained by the commentary that go along with each personal recipe. Watching each episode- feels like spending time with a friend! Valerie is a breath of fresh air!

Food Network is also not bringing Valerie back for the next season of “Kids Baking Championship”. Valerie has been a co-host since season 1 in 2015. The most genuine host Food Network has ever had- not only to the viewers, but to each kid who competed on the show. She showed compassion to all and critiqued with kindness while sharing helpful direction. That show will never be the same without Duff Goldman AND Valerie Bertinelli hosting TOGETHER. It was like watching two friends host! So much fun and light of happiness through the TV screen. 

This is why we can't say goodbye to Valerie Bertinelli on Food Network :(
