Thanks to your incredible support, Clarington Council has voted to give the Jury Lands Foundation more time to demonstrate that the historic Camp 30 Cafeteria Building can be preserved.
A professional structural assessment will now be completed, and the results will be sent to Council, who will ultimately decide the building’s fate.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll be working with professionals to complete the assessment and continue building national awareness of this important site.
This is a major step forward — and it happened because of you. Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and spoken up for Camp 30.
