This from Camden Council today via Camden Planning today as an official statement: "The contractor has started preparatory works for the lifting of the Smithy. A trench has been dug on all four sides of the internal walls to expose the footings, on three sides it has shown that there is a sound base, brick on two sides and some historic underpinning on the west side. On the east wall the brick work is in extremely poor condition and is missing in parts. This portion of brickwork will ultimately be removed and replaced with the new concrete ring beam. In the short term they require a solution to stabilise the wall and support the brickwork above whilst the underpinning and new slab works are carried out.!"
