💜 CAMPAIGN UPDATE – TWO KEY MEETINGS CONFIRMED 💜

I am pleased to share that two important meetings have now been confirmed as part of the Domestic Abuse-Related Suicide Recognition Law Campaign.

Meeting with the Office of Justice Minister Naomi Long MLA

These meetings provide an important opportunity to discuss the current gap in Northern Ireland, where there is no dedicated mechanism to identify or record domestic abuse-related suicides, and to continue conversations around recognition, accountability, prevention and support for victims and families.

Since launching this campaign, engagement has continued to grow with organisations including the Department of Justice, the Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Justice, Women's Aid Federation Northern Ireland, AAFDA, the Commissioner Designate for Victims of Crime, Victims & Survivors Service, the Men's Advisory Project, Domestic & Sexual Abuse Helpline, PSNI, the Coroner Service Northern Ireland, MLAs and campaigners across the UK.

This campaign began following the loss of my sister in October 2025. While my family's circumstances remain part of an ongoing investigation and I cannot discuss the specifics, I remain committed to ensuring that no victim and no family is overlooked.

Every conversation matters. Every meeting matters. Every signature matters.

Together, we can continue pushing for recognition, recording, investigation, accountability and prevention.
