It’s July 4 once again, exactly two years since I lost my daughter, Kate, to tell you honestly I hate this day, because until now, I haven’t got over it yet, there’s still mixed feelings, and my thoughts about her just comes rushing in, the memories keeps pouring in, there’s not a day in my life that I never thought about her, and the only regret was being manipulated, deceived and given false hope by Antonia Carandang Park the Fake doctor of president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and other prominent people in our society. After the death of my daughter, I started my crusade to unmasked the true person in this fake doctor, and expose the truth about her illegal activities, I got a certification on August 2013 from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) that she is not a doctor, I went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on October 2013 to file my complaint and they told me that they will entrap her but it did not materialized of which until now I cannot understand why it didn’t. Until finally, I have formally filed a case of murder, syndicated estafa and illegal practice of medicine against Antonia Carandang Park, together with Mr. Park, her nurses and staff last May 6, 2014, at the Hall of Justice, Tagaytay City. The two cases are both non-bailable except for the Illegal practice of Medicine. I have received information that Antonia Carandang Park fled the country 2 days after I have filed these cases. Why was she not issued a Hold Departure Order? I do not know. On July 2014, I have received a letter that my case was brought to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Manila, and on August 2014, the preliminary investigation was conducted by prosecutor Monica Liwag of DOJ Manila. After submitting tons of evidences, corroborative statements from other victims/witnesses, and even her former employee as a star witness, with all of these against her defense of alibis and denials. Antonia Carandang Park never attended any of the scheduled preliminary investigations, only her lawyer Attorney Lourdes Benepayo was present. On September 2014, the case was submitted for resolution. Normally, a resolution would come out in 3 months’ time or a 90 day period, but mine came out after 7 months on April 2015, and I have only known about this through the star witness who told me that she already had her copy of the resolution dated December 2014 and so, I immediately went to the DOJ, and was told that my copy of the resolution was sent through mail, but for the record up until now I have not yet received the copy they mailed to me, and since I was already there, I requested a copy from them. There indicates that the murder and syndicated estafa against Mr. Park, the staff and nurses of Antonia Carandang Park were dismissed and so is the separate case of Illegal practice of medicine filed by the NBI on April 2014. However, 8 counts of estafa was filed at the RTC branch 18, and 1 count of illegal practice of medicine at MTC both in Tagaytay City. But why was the NBI's case dismissed while mine was filed at the MTC of the same case of Illegal practice of medicine? In view of this, I immediately filed a petition for review of the cases that were dismissed. Antonia Carandang Park was never arrested, she immediately posted bail at the Pasay City Courts on 1 count of estafa. It took her 30 days to post bail for the illegal practice of medicine, and she was never caught during this time. While I was following up the 7 other counts of estafa at the DOJ, I was told that since the resolution was for 8 counts of estafa, the 7 other counts will eventually come to her, but a day before her arraignment, I have received a letter from prosecutor Monica Liwag of DOJ stating that the 8 counts of estafa was reduced to only 1 count. And her explanation was that it was inadvertently sent. How can it be inadvertently sent while my resolution already took so long to come out. Since I don’t have a lawyer, I was not able to react on this. I am expecting on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to uphold the rule of law and be objective in my case as the blindfolded Lady of Justice. I need a lawyer who can help me seek justice for my daughter. A lawyer who has courage, determination, who has strong principles and conviction, who is uncompromised and hates people who use their power to abuse other people. Please help me find one. Antonia Carandang Park came back in December 2014, ironically the same time frame as my resolution indicating only non-bailable cases were filed against her, and we were told that she still continues to operate her clinic discreetly this time. Despite her clinic being ordered closed by the city government of Tagaytay City on May 2014, and facing the courts for Illegal practice of Medicine on my case. If this isn't a display of power with impunity, what else will you call it? Please help me stop her. #JusticeForKate
