⚕️ A Global Call to Healthcare Professionals
If you are a healthcare professional, this petition is written for you.

Across Iran, physicians, doctors, nurses, paramedics, health professionals, and medical students are being arrested, tortured, imprisoned, and killed for one reason alone: they treated injured patients.

This is a direct attack on:

• Medical ethics
• Medical neutrality
• International humanitarian law

Treating the wounded is NOT a crime.
It is our professional duty.

🚨 What Is Happening in Iran
The Islamic Republic of Iran has:

• Killed over 30,000 civilians
• Injured more than 380,000 people
• Permanently blinded at least 8,000, including children

As hospitals became the last refuge for the wounded, the regime began targeting healthcare workers themselves.

Doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals have been:

• Arrested from hospitals and clinics
• Threatened with imprisonment or execution
• Forced to deny care or report injured patients
• Punished for honoring the Hippocratic Oath

Medical care has been criminalized.

⚖️ This Violates International Law
Medical neutrality is protected under:

• The Geneva Conventions
• International humanitarian law
• Fundamental principles of medical ethics

Targeting healthcare workers for providing care constitutes a crime against humanity.

Silence from the global medical community enables these violations to continue.

We, a group of Iranian medical professionals in Europe, condemn this barbarism.

We have authored a detailed open letter condemning these crimes against humanity and affirming our solidarity with the Iranian people’s revolution for a secular, democratic future.

But we cannot do this alone. The medical community’s voice must be unified and global. 

We call on every healthcare professional worldwide—doctors, nurses, surgeons, specialists, dentists, medical students, and allied health workers—to add your name in solidarity.
