CHRONIC PAIN will soon affect 1 in 3 Canadians. How can we avert this growing Health Crises?

Dear Supporters, Thank you so much for signing our petition for education, awareness and reform of Chronic Pain care in Canada. Chronic pain currently affects 1 in 4 Canadians , on a day to day basis. It costs the Canadian economy 60 Billion + annually in lost wages, treatments and productivity. With aging Boomers "zooming" towards retirement age, this health crises is anticipated to reach 1 in 3- by the year 2020. What , if any strategies are in place for Pain Care research, education and reform? So far as we can ascertain, Chronic Pain is not being recognized in the media, the medical or the governmental sector- for the crises it is becoming.
