Dear Supporters, 

I have not forgotten about this petition. In light of the recent repeal of 377A and Minister Shanmugam's post that "Homosexuality might be a sin in some religions, but not every sin is a crime"

 I intend to make a video to Shanmugam to ask him if he thinks the art work by SGArt is a "sin" or a "crime" that deserves punishment. 

In the article, "He (Shanmugam) explained that even with the repeal, non-consensual sexual assault by males against other males, and sexual acts committed by males against young persons (offence regardless of consent) remained a serious crime. Sexual acts between two males committed in public that offends public decency also remain a crime."

I wish to tell him that as of today 1 Dec, more than 4000 people think that the artwork offends public decency. Yet, to date, the police have not updated me about my police report made on 25 August 2022. 

So I want to know if this artwork that has caused an outcry will be allowed to be shown and if public decency will be upheld in view of the repeal of 377A. Moreover, the offending artwork seems to depict the molestation of a minor. 

Let's not talk about en-shiring marriage in the constitution in the future. Let's just talk about the simple, basic upholding of moral decency and protection of minors in society. 

Will the organizers be investigated? Will they be warned/punished? Will Business Times be putting an apology in the newspapers?

I'm extremely concerned about this sickening artwork being passed off as art this coming January.

I hope enough people sign this petition for us to send a signal to the authorities that this is wrong and we the people of Singapore do not tolerate threats to the safety of our children and minors.
