D.S.B.N. is making policy changes for 2017

The Board will be making changes to its policy for 2017. Among other issues most community involvement will be removed and the superintendent will be the only one who can make a name change. They are asking for feedback. Here is our chance to be heard. Go to the D.S.B.N. website. Go to "about D.S.B.N." and click on it. There will be a drop down list. Select "policies" and go to A 9--naming of schools. Go to the feedback section. After reading the new policy, make statements of what you would like to see , what you don't agree with and why. Try to go on the site often and keep making suggestions. Show how Wellington Heights is an inappropriate name for our school and the E.W. Farr name should be kept. More ideas will be coming your way soon. The deadline is December 16th so please start as soon as you can.Thank you
