The District Collector Indore is requested to direct the Commissioner of the Indore Municipal Corporation, IMC, to stop the painting of tree trunks using synthetic paints in areas under the IMC. This will kill the trees and cause huge irreversible environmental damage and also have adverse effect on human health. 

Traditional geru choona can always be used. Please discuss with botanical experts before taking any decision regarding trees.

Let Indore not lose these priceless gifts of nature. We owe it to society, the environment and future generations to preserve these green jewels. 

Winning the Cleanest City award five times in a row will be a meaningless achievement without our trees. 

Let's stop this extremely unhealthy practice before it's too late.
