On 7/9/2020 my friend John Pamplin, was deliberately assaulted in Dolores Park. Although there is video footage and a witness, the District Attorney of San Francisco, Chesa Boudin, is actively trying to dismiss the case. The San Francisco Police Department provided District Attorney Boudin with more than enough evidence to prosecute the suspect, but it is still considered "not enough".  

John was initially on life support given very low odds of surviving this horrific ordeal, leaving him with severe brain damage. They had to remove a piece of his skull to reduce the swelling. He is currently looking at months, even years of rehabilitation to regain as much of his normal self as possible, which is not a guarantee. 

All we are asking for is the District Attorney to do what he was sworn in to do and bring justice to an unprovoked crime that is so blatantly obvious. Please consider if this would have happened to one of your family members. It is only fair that John receives the justice he deserves.
