I am a resident of Mystic Canyon in Mohave Valley, Arizona. Like many of my neighbors, I have been questioning the necessity and benefits of our Homeowners Association (HOA). We do not have common areas, no pool or clubhouse. There is no apparent benefit to having one in our community.

Our HOA was established with the intention to maintain shared spaces and enhance property values. However, without any shared amenities or common areas for residents to enjoy, it seems we are paying dues without receiving any tangible benefits.

According to a 2018 study by InsuranceQuotes.com, more than half of American homeowners who live under HOAs regret their decision due to lack of transparency and overregulation. In communities like ours where there are no communal facilities or services provided by the HOA, this dissatisfaction can be even higher.

We believe that our community would be better served if we could manage our properties individually without unnecessary interference from an ineffective HOA. This would allow us more freedom with how we choose to maintain our homes and use our hard-earned money.

We urge all residents of Mohave Valley who share these concerns about the lack of utility from our current HOA arrangement to sign this petition. Let's work together towards dissolving an entity that provides us with little value while costing us both financially and in terms of personal freedom.
