Mega Man fans, I want to share this with you directly.

A guy named Andrew Dickman (goes by Andrew DC or AWDtwit on Twitter/X) has competed in the Mega Man Dual Override Robot Master Design Contest, the image being used for this petition is the design he submitted. He is one of the 20 finalists revealed yesterday at the time of writing this.

Yeah, when he submitted it, we all thought it looked cool, but someone on Twitter has recently revealed old files from over 10 years ago that Dickman has ongoing history that he abused/sexually assaulted/raped his ex-girlfriend, made up lies to make it sound like she was the mean one, and is friends with a guy who is absolutely mean to people.

This is both disgusting and insane. As a Mega Man fan, if Capcom doesn't notice this and keeps him in the competition, people will be really mad at Capcom, because not only are we allowing a rapist to compete in a contest that's meant to be fun for both kids and adults, but we are also allowing him to potentially win. Let me ask you, if you saw his design make it into the game, knowing he's a rapist, how would you feel?

We need to take action. That is why I want to make our voices heard. The first step has already been done, me noticing the situation, stepping up, and creating this petition. Now, I need your help for the next step. Sign this petition, and we can stop this rapist from potentially advancing any further. Sign, share, anything you can do to stop Dickman will help a ton.

Capcom, if you are reading this, please take action, disqualify Andrew DC from the contest, and replace his design with a different one, whether it be me or someone else.
