For years Sony has failed to keep cinematic Spider-Man on his feet. Spider-Man 3 and the two Amazing Spiderman movies were not good. It wasn’t until Sony partnered with Disney/The MCU that we finally got a solid representation of Spider-Man and, not to mention, the highest grossing Spider-Man movie of all time. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is a huge character in the MCU and it will be a creative nightmare to remove him from the canon, and/or to not have the next Spider-Man movies overseen by Marvel. Sony has been lucky to have Spider-Man for all these years, but it’s time for our heroes to come home to where they belong.
