Our petition asking for an official complete series release of the 1970s live-action "Spider-Man" TV series on DVD and Blu-Ray has 2,223 signatures so far! That['s truly amazing! Please remember to share this link on websites like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. and ask your friends and fellow Spider-Man fans if they'd like to sign this petition as well. The more signatures we collect and the more awareness we get for this cause, the more likely our dream of seeing the "Spider-Man" TV series released on DVD and Blu-Ray could become a reality!
To those who are interested, I also have five more Spider-Man related petitions in regards to the character's comic books, the Fox Kids "Spider-Man" animated series, and the current "Marvel Legends: Spider-Man" toy-line from Hasbro.
The first petition asks Marvel Comics to undo the events of "One More Day" and bring the marriage of Peter and Mary Jane Watson-Parker back into continuity in the monthly Spider-Man comics. 435 signatures have been collected so far and the petition can be found at the following link: https://www.change.org/p/marvel-please-undo-one-more-day
The second petition asks Marvel Comics to resurrect Max Dillon/the original Electro (who was killed off in writer Dan Slott's "The Clone Conspiracy" story-line), have Max Dillon get his powers back, and to return to the monthly Spider-Man comics in his classic costume and mask as Electro. 319 signatures have been collected so far and the petition can be found at this link: https://www.change.org/p/marvel-please-resurrect-max-dillon-electro
The third petition asks for The Walt Disney Company to finally, officially release all 65 episodes of "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" on DVD and Blu-Ray for all regions, to have the picture quality of the series remastered in high definition and for the episodes to be unedited like when they were originally aired on the Fox Kids network. While the series is on Disney Plus, it's still disappointing to me this series has never had an official Region 1 release on DVD and Blu-Ray. 1,726 signatures have been collected so far and the petition can be found at this link: https://www.change.org/p/spider-man-tas-on-dvd-and-blu-ray
The fourth petition asks The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Animation to bring back all of the voice actors, show-runners, producers, series writers, etc. from the Fox Kids "X-Men" and "Spider-Man" animated series and to have them make all-new episodes of both series for a Disney TV network or for Disney Plus. 265 signatures have been collected so far and some of the voice actors from the series (such as Cal Dodd, the voice of Wolverine on "X-Men"; Lenore Zann, the voice of Rogue on "X-Men"; and Sara Ballantine, the voice of Mary Jane Watson on "Spider-Man") were kind enough to share the link to this petition on their Twitter accounts. If you'd like to sign the petition, you can find it here: https://www.change.org/p/disney-new-episodes-of-the-90s-xmen-and-spiderman-cartoons-please
Finally, I have a petition that asks Hasbro to continue making more retro/vintage characters for their upcoming retro "Spider-Man" toy-line. The first series of figures, which will be released later in 2020, will include Spider-Man, Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy (with an alternate head accessory of Mary Jane Watson), and the other three figures are rumored to include Electro, the Green Goblin and Daredevil in his armored costume from the 1990s. My petition asks Hasbro to make more retro figures of the villains, heroes and supporting characters from the Spider-Man comics, such as Aunt May Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, the Chameleon, the Sandman, the Rhino, the Shocker, the Black Cat, Firestar in her "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends" costume, Boomerang, Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles accessories, and much more. This new petition has 12 signatures and you can find it at this link: https://www.change.org/p/hasbro-more-retro-spider-man-figures-please
Thank you all for your support and thanks again for signing this petition. I hope you all have a great Friday and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well. Stay safe, everyone.
