Make a definitive Blu-ray release of 'The Lion King'[1994] and make new 'TLK' projects
The Issue
There should be a definitive Blu-ray release of 'The Lion King'[1994] that includes the original unaltered 1994 version of the film that has the original crocodile animation in the 'I Just Can't Wait To Be King' sequence, instead of the altered version that was used on the previous Blu-ray releases, as well as the 2003 Special Edition version of the film and an extended cut of the film with new animation, with there being the option to watch the extended cut of 'The Lion King'[1994] with or without the inclusion of the song 'The Morning Report'.
The extended cut should use the songs 'The Lioness Hunt', 'Chow Down', 'They Live In You', 'Rafiki Mourns', 'The Madness of King Scar'(without the parts involving Nala), 'Shadowland', 'Endless Night', and 'He Lives In You'. There should be 2 new scenes between the scene where Scar announces that Shenzi's hyena clan is moving to Pride Rock, and the scene where Rafiki sings 'Rafiki Mourns', with the first of these 2 scenes showing a brief discussion between Scar and the hyenas(including Kamari(who should be voiced by Keegan-Michael Key) and Azizi(who should be voiced by Eric Andre), who were created for the photorealistic computer-animated remake of the original film) and a short reprise of 'Be Prepared' that has the lyrics that were written for the version of the song that was used in the photorealistic computer-animated remake of the original film, and with the second of these 2 scenes showing Simba singing the song 'Where Do I Belong?', and there should be a new scene based on the scene from the play where Simba saves Timon from going down a waterfall.
Scar's lines heard before he sings 'Be Prepared' on the soundtrack album for the original film should be included. The fight sequence with the lionesses, Rafiki, and Pumbaa fighting the hyenas should be extended. With this extended cut, as many of the original actors as possible should be brought back and for those who can't reprise their roles, whether it be because they passed away or some other reason, either actors who can do the exact same voices that the original actors did for the characters that they voiced should be used, or the voice-cloning program Respeecher(which was used for Luke Skywalker in the TV series 'Star Wars: The Mandalorian' and Darth Vader in the miniseries 'Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi') should be used.
All of the previous extras from all of the previous home video releases of the film(including the 1995 deluxe edition Laserdisc release, the 2003 2-disc DVD release, and the 2011 Blu-ray release) should be included, as well as a new full-length, in-depth retrospective documentary on the film that is completely comprised of new footage and has a section that covers the marketing & merchandising for the film.
All of the trailers, TV spots, & radio spots for the film should be included.
This should be the front cover art: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/3d/The_Lion_King_poster.jpg.
This should be the Disc 1 art: http://s-tlk.org/tlk/media/games/cover.png.
This should be the Disc 2 art: http://s-tlk.org/tlk/media/cd/tlk-ost1994_cover.png.
This should be the Disc 3 art: http://s-tlk.org/tlk/media/ld/cav_deluxe/box_cover.png.
Blu-ray releases like this should be done for all of Disney's classic animated & live-action films and whenever Disney makes a new home video release of one of their movies, TV series, etc, all of the previous extras from all of the previous home video releases should always be included. Extended cuts like the one made for 'The Lion King'[1994] should be made for 'The Little Mermaid'[1989], 'Beauty & The Beast'[1991], 'Aladdin'[1992], and 'Frozen'. Disney should stop including the current Disney movie opening production logo sequence on the pre-'Pirates of The Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest' Disney movies.
For the extended cut of 'Beauty & The Beast'[1991], in addition to the songs 'Human Again', 'No Matter What', 'Me', 'Home', 'How Long Must This Go On?', 'If I Can't Love Her', 'Maison Des Lunes', and 'A Change In Me' being included, the songs created for the live-action remake of the original film, 'How Does A Moment Last Forever?', 'Days In The Sun', and 'Evermore', should be included. There should be a brief new scene involving the piano character Cadenza from the live-action remake of the original film talking to his wife, the wardrobe, whose name should be revealed to be the name she was given in the play, "Madame de la Grande Bouche". The scene where the spell is broken should be extended, with the human forms of various residents of the castle who aren't shown in the final scene of the film, including Mrs Potts's other children, Madame de la Grande Bouche & Cadenza, Chef Bouche, the maids, the castle residents introduced in 'Beauty & The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas', and the castle residents introduced in 'Beauty & The Beast: Belle's Magical World', being shown, the character Jean Potts from the live-action remake appearing & reuniting with Mrs Potts & their children, and Beast telling Belle that his real name is "Adam".
There should be a new hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original 'The Lion King' movie that's a sequel to 'The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride' and the TV series 'The Lion Guard'. There should be parts of this movie that take place in the Outlands, the place where the Tree of Life is, and the jungle oasis that Timon & Pumbaa used to live in and Timon's old meerkat colony moved to. Shenzi, Banzai, & Ed and Rafiki's nephew named Nefu should be in this film. This film's opening scene should take place shortly after Kion & Rani's coronation at the Tree of Life and should involve Simba & Nala revealing to Kiara & Kion that 6 years before they had Kiara, they had a cub named Kopa, with Simba & Nala believing that Kopa died due to an incident that happened a year before Kiara was born, when in reality, Kopa survived but had gotten amnesia.
There should be a hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original film that takes place between 'The Lion King'[1994] and 'The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride', and revolves around Kopa, with this film using the stories revolving around Kopa that were created for the 'The Lion King: Six New Adventures' storybooks.
There should be a hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original prequel TV series to 'The Lion King'[1994] that revolves around Mufasa & Scar(AKA Taka), with this TV series beginning with Mufasa & Scar(AKA Taka) as cubs and ending on the day of the presentation of newborn Simba.
After Taka gets his scar & gets nicknamed "Scar" by Mufasa, but before he uses the Roar of The Elders to kill his Lion Guard teammates and loses the Roar as a result, there should be a multi-parter that uses elements of the photorealistic computer-animated film 'Mufasa: The Lion King'(the music compositions & songs from which should be used), which is a prequel/sequel to the photorealistic computer-animated remake of 'The Lion King'[1994], with Mufasa and Scar having been sent on a mission far away from the Pride Lands by their father, and meeting Sarabi(whose tribe in the Valley of Kings has been decimated by the pride of lions called the Outsiders(who are led by Kiros)) & Zazu and Rafiki while on their journey to return to the Pride Lands. At the end of this story, Rafiki should become the Royal Mjuzi of the Pride Lands.
There should be a hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original midquel miniseries to 'The Lion King'[1994] titled 'Scar' that's based on the comic book miniseries 'Disney Villains: Scar'.
There should be 2 hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original TV series midquels to 'The Lion King'[1994]. The 1st TV series midquel should revolve around the lives of Simba & Nala before they went to the Elephant Graveyard, with stories created for various 'The Lion King' storybooks, comic books(including those that were only released in certain countries and those created for the anthology graphic novel 'Wild Schemes And Catastrophes', which is connected to the photorealistic computer-animated remake of 'The Lion King'[1994]), & magazines being used, and the 2nd TV series midquel should revolve around the lives of Simba, Timon, & Pumbaa in the jungle oasis and Nala's life during Scar's reign over the Pride Lands before she fled from the Pride Lands as an adult, with this TV series picking up on the day that Simba was taken in by Timon & Pumbaa and ending a few days before Simba gets reunited with Nala, with this TV series using the 'Hakuna Matata' stories created for the magazine series 'The Lion King: A Nature Fun & Learn Series', and with this TV series using the jungle oasis residents that were created for the photorealistic computer-animated remake of 'The Lion King'[1994].
There should be a hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original short film sequel to the TV series 'Timon & Pumbaa' that revolves around Timon & Pumbaa moving to the Pride Lands and discovering Hakuna Matata Falls, and has a scene in which Rafiki reveals to Zazu that the story he told him in the 'Timon & Pumbaa' episode 'Once Upon A Timon' about how Timon & Pumbaa met was a lie, and that he was messing with Zazu, thus resolving the discrepancy between the 'Timon & Pumbaa' episode 'Once Upon A Timon' and 'The Lion King 1 1/2'.
There should be a hand-drawn-animated Disney Plus original microseries that uses the 'Rafiki Remembers' stories created for the magazine series 'The Lion King: A Nature Fun & Learn Series'.
For these productions, adult Simba should be voiced by Matthew Broderick or Cam Clarke, adult Nala should be voiced by Moira Kelly or someone who can do the same adult Nala voice as her, Rafiki should be voiced by someone who can do the exact same Rafiki voice as Robert Guillaume or the Respeecher program should be used for his voice, adult Kiara should be voiced by Neve Campbell, adult Mufasa should be voiced by someone who can do the exact same adult Mufasa voice as James Earl Jones or the Respeecher program should be used for his voice, adult Scar should be voiced by Jeremy Irons, adult Sarabi should be voiced by someone who can do the exact same adult Sarabi voice as Madge Sinclair or the Respeecher program should be used for her voice, adult Zira should be voiced by someone who can do the exact same adult Zira voice as Suzanne Pleshette or the Respeecher program should be used for her voice, adult Shenzi should be voiced by Whoopi Goldberg, adult Banzai should be voiced by someone who can do the exact same adult Banzai voice as Cheech Marin or the Respeecher program should be used for his voice, adult Ed should be voiced by Jim Cummings, adult Kamari should be voiced by Keegan-Michael Key, and adult Azizi should be voiced by Eric Andre.
There should be a 2-disc or 3-disc Blu-ray release of multiple proshots of the stage play version of 'The Lion King' that includes all of the featurettes that pertain to it from the 2003 2-disc DVD release of the original film, all of the TV specials that pertain to it, a new full-length, in-depth retrospective documentary on the stage play that is completely comprised of new footage, and an audio commentary by Julie Taymor, Thomas Schumacher, and an assortment of original cast members.
