For the past year or so, many of us have been greatly anticipating Disney’s upcoming photorealistic reimagining of The Lion King. However, it is rumored that the film might not include the original film’s iconic, showstopping musical number, ‘Be Prepared’. Like many others who have always felt that it was the best song in the original movie, I was rather upset upon hearing this. But there is still hope: this is still only a rumor, and no one involved in the film has actually confirmed it. However, the rumor has spread so rapidly, that there is a lot of fear that it might be true. I started this petition in hopes of raising enough popular demand to have the song officially put in the movie. The other four songs are still in there; we just need the other one, the final piece of the puzzle. If, by chance, Elton, Beyoncé, Jon Favreau, or anyone involved in the film actually sees this, PLEASE, I’m asking with my whole heart, include ‘Be Prepared’ in the Lion King remake.
