We want to share an important update regarding the Board of Directors at Joy of Motion Dance Center. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the DMV Coalition of Dance Educators, students, parents, and community, the entire previous Board of Directors at Joy of Motion has stepped down and a whole new Board of Directors is now in place. Our community stood TOGETHER. Our collective action WORKED. WE fought for JUSTICE and made CHANGE happen. We couldn't have done it without you, and we thank you greatly. 

The new Board of Directors is made up of community members who strive to re-engage, unite and empower the talented faculty, students and dancers of the DMV dance community.  There is still much work to do, but we are hopeful that this Board of Directors intends to cultivate a safe, just, respectful and inclusive Joy of Motion.
