I spoke to my contact at the Brookfield Parks & Recreation Department this past week. I shared this petition with him, and we talked at length about what a course at Mary Knoll could actually look like.
If you have ever been to Mary Knoll you will have noticed that the road when you enter the park is unpaved. This road was left unpaved because it is actually on undeveloped land that is owned by the Elmbrook School District.
My contact has worked with the School District in the past, and he is going to speak with them to see whether or not they would be open to using this space for disc golf. This would be IN ADDITION to the space already owned by the Parks Department that makes up the current boundaries of Mary Knoll Park!
