Abbiamo scelto Camerino con il cuore pieno di speranza. Abbiamo scelto di investire il nostro futuro in questo territorio, portando qui i nostri sogni, i nostri libri e la nostra fiducia. Ma oggi quella fiducia è andata in frantumi.

Poche ore fa, una fredda email di ERDIS ha stravolto le nostre vite. I blocchi B, C, D ed E devono essere svuotati. Ora. Subito. Entro venerdì 23.

Ci è stato comunicato con un tono che non ammette repliche, come se fossimo oggetti da spostare in un magazzino per far spazio a dei lavori di manutenzione. Non contestiamo i lavori, sappiamo che la sicurezza è importante. Ma contestiamo con tutto il fiato che abbiamo in gola il modo in cui siamo stati trattati.

Siamo delusi, stanchi e, sinceramente, amareggiati.

Provate a mettervi nei nostri panni. Tra pochi giorni molti di noi avranno esami decisivi. Abbiamo lezioni da frequentare, laboratori che richiedono ogni nostra energia. Invece di concentrarci sullo studio, ci ritroviamo a dover infilare la nostra vita dentro degli scatoloni in fretta e furia, senza sapere con certezza dove finiremo, con chi saremo, o se la nostra nuova sistemazione ci permetterà di continuare a studiare con dignità.

La nostra stanza in studentato non è solo un "posto letto". È casa nostra. È l'unico spazio di stabilità che abbiamo in una vita universitaria già frenetica. Sradicarci così, dall'oggi al domani, non è solo un disagio logistico: è una mancanza di rispetto verso la nostra salute mentale e il nostro percorso umano.

Non siamo numeri in una tabella di marcia. Non siamo ostacoli burocratici da rimuovere per non perdere i finanziamenti di giugno. Siamo persone. Siamo studenti che pagano, che sognano e che meritano di essere ascoltati.

Chiediamo a ERDIS e all'Università di Camerino di fermarsi. Chiediamo che questa fretta cieca venga sostituita dal dialogo. Vogliamo un piano di trasferimento umano, che rispetti i nostri tempi, che tenga conto delle nostre necessità e che non ci tratti come pedine senza voce.

Chiediamo dignità. Chiediamo di essere trattati come cittadini, non come scarti di cantiere.

Firma questa petizione se credi che il diritto allo studio passi anche attraverso il rispetto della persona. Aiutaci a far capire che la nostra voce conta più di una scadenza burocratica. La tua firma è la nostra forza.

We came to Camerino with our hearts full of hope. We chose to invest our futures in this community, bringing with us our dreams, our books, and our trust. Today, that trust is in pieces.

A few hours ago, a cold email from ERDIS turned our lives upside down. Blocks B, C, D, and E must be vacated. Now. Immediately. We have until Friday the 23rd.

The tone of the communication leaves no room for discussion, as if we were merely objects to be moved into a warehouse to make room for maintenance work. We aren't questioning the work itself—we know safety matters. But we are protesting, with everything we have, the way we are being treated.

We are disappointed, exhausted, and deeply bitter.

Try to walk in our shoes for a moment. In just a few days, many of us have life-changing exams. We have classes to attend and labs that require every ounce of our energy. Instead of focusing on our studies, we are being forced to cram our entire lives into cardboard boxes in a desperate rush. We don’t even know for sure where we’ll end up, who we’ll be with, or if our new housing will allow us to continue studying with any semblance of dignity.

Our dorm room isn't just a "bed space." It is our home. It’s the only sanctuary of stability we have in an already frantic university life. Uprooting us like this, overnight, isn't just a logistical headache—it’s a total lack of respect for our mental health and our journey as human beings.

We are not numbers on a spreadsheet. We are not bureaucratic obstacles to be cleared away just to meet a June funding deadline. We are people. We are students who pay, who dream, and who deserve to be heard.

We are calling on ERDIS and the University of Camerino to stop. We ask that this blind rush be replaced by dialogue. We want a relocation plan that is human, that respects our schedule, that considers our needs, and that doesn't treat us like voiceless pawns.

We demand dignity. We demand to be treated as citizens, not as construction site waste.
