This petition demands that congress pass a bill to block Pres. Trump from changing or shrinking any existing national monuments and to restore Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument back to their original designations. 

The future of all of our national monuments are under threat if we the people allow this executive overreach to proceed. There must be a strict guideline set in place by congress that protects our national monuments from being altered by the whims of any president who does not consider the will of the people or due process. Areas like the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park are also being threatened by the current disregard for climate science and indigenous rights.
