This intersection would be an embarrassment for any city that wants to be taken seriously. The abrupt stop from 100 KPH (or more) to a complete standstill due to the recurring traffic jam caused by the light is not just frustrating—it’s beyond unsafe. I know I'm not alone in this experience. Thousands of us travel this stretch daily, and we're all at risk. Without a proper interchange now (not later) the current configuration can only lead to more congestion, greater delays, and, quite possibly, more tragic accidents. 

The intersection services a large volume of vehicles around Winnipeg every day, and as our population continues to grow, this traffic is only going to increase.

The solution is clear: we need a fully functional interchange at PTH 101 and Pipeline Road, completed by 2030. It's not just about reducing travel time—it's about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every person who crosses this corridor. A properly designed interchange will mitigate traffic congestion, reduce the likelihood of accidents, and foster a smoother flow of vehicles, significantly improving daily commutes.

We've reached a critical juncture where immediate action is required. Delaying this project further is not an option. By prioritizing this interchange, we can protect our community, preserve lives, and support efficient transportation infrastructure that benefits all Manitobans.
