Petition update

There’s still time to convince Senator Lambie

National Justice Project

Sep 12, 2020 —

Thank you to the thousands and thousands of you who completed Senator Lambie’s poll on the Mobile Phone Ban Bill. Senator Lambie’s vote could decide if Peter Dutton gets to take away the phones from asylum seekers in detention.

There is still time to help the Senator make up her mind. If you haven’t already, please click this link and complete the quick poll on her website.

Senator Lambie believes you have the right to be heard by politicians. That's why she wants your advice on this important vote.

When you complete the poll, make sure you select “No, you shouldn't vote to make the bill law.” Then, you’ll be asked to explain why - please keep it respectful and polite when offering your opinion. We need Senator Lambie onside.

Please click here to tell Senator Lambie to vote NO on Dutton’s Phone Bill.

The National Justice Project stopped Peter Dutton from taking the phones out of asylum seekers’ hands once before in the Federal Court. With all of you with us, I know we can do it again.
